How small can a half bath be?

The toilet needs 30″ of width (15″ from its centerline to each side) and 21″ of clear floor in front. With a compact round-front toilet that is 47″ from the wall it sits on. So a 3′-wide room works only with the toilet on an end wall, and anything under about 3′ × 6′ can't fit both a toilet and a sink with full clearances.
